Girls Softball is having a great season.

Varsity is 15-0. They have outscored their opponents 215-10.

The JV team ended their season 10-0 outscoring their opponents 163-3.

SoDak 16 will be on May 23.

State Softball is June 1-3 in Aberdeen.

May 6

21 West Central FFA Agriscience Projects

were awarded cash prizes during the

95th State FFA Convention. Cash prizes of $120, $60, and $30 were awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place projects respectively.

6 Projects were named State Champions

and their research advances to

the national level.

May 8

Girls 4x200 broke the Howard Wood record

on Saturday!  Running were Rayna Goehring, Emma Goehring, Sadie Berg,

and Molli Thornton.

All our kids did amazing!

May 7

West Central FFA members earned nearly $8000 in prize money and scholarships during the 95th State FFA Convention.

Shayne Luzmoor won the State Agriscience Research Animal Systems Proficiency Award and advances to national competition. Star Candidates Luzmoor and Ali Zacharias earned cash awards as well as the Mary Hansen Memorial Scholarship. Connor Siemonsma was awarded the SD School Of Mines Scholarship as well as two National FFA Scholarships. Agriscience finalists took home $1800 in prize money. All first place awards now move onto their respective national competitions

May 1

Drew Caffery was selected as a Sanford Research PROMISE Scholar!

This is a paid 10 week Sanford Human Health Research internship. Drew will receive a scholarship and 3 undergraduate credits.
