State Library Recognizes West Central As A 21st Century School Library
Each year the SD State Library, a division of the SD Department of Education, recognizes school libraries as Effective, Enhanced, or Exemplary, based on performance in three areas: The Place (both physical and online learning environments), The Program, and The Professional.
West Central Library received Exemplary recognition. They have been recognized by the State Library for the past 12 years.
Advanced Placement Classes
WC has 87 students registered to take 93 exams this spring, including 28 students who will be the first ever West Central students to take the World History AP exam, most of which will be among the first sophomores to take an AP exam ever at West Central. This continues our year-long push to give students more college options in high school.
WC Ag Communications team earned a Silver team award. Lexi Nichols has been named as one of the top ten competitors in the nation. Full rankings will be announced tomorrow night! Congratulations!
