The forecast called for rain, but our students brought the sunshine! Last Friday's Homecoming Parade was filled with Trojan pride, and our Middle School Student Council did a fantastic job representing West Central Middle School 💙🤍
Last week, West Central students attended Construction Career Day at Southeast Technical College. They experienced different forms of construction technology.
Good Afternoon!
Because of the wet field conditions and the forecast of more rain, the West Central vs. Tri-Valley JV/9th grade football games have been cancelled for tonight.

Mrs. Spielmann’s second graders have been learning about major landforms and bodies of water in Social Studies. Students explored how landforms are formed and learned about mountains, hills, valleys, plains, rivers, lakes, islands, peninsulas, and more!
To wrap up their learning, students created their own unique landform models. We love seeing their creativity and learning come to life! Great job, second graders! 👏🌎

The Tri-Valley and West Central Booster Clubs are hosting a Make a Change with Your Loose Change Competition the week of September 14, leading up to Friday night’s football game between the schools (WC Homecoming). The money raised will benefit each school’s Closet to purchase clothing, hygiene products and other needed items for students at each school.
All grades of JK–12 at both schools will receive a change jar the week before. Monday through Thursday (September 14-17), students will collect and donate change to their grade’s jar.
Each grade will compete within its own school (WC vs. WC and TV vs. TV) so that the BC will total each grade’s change, and then the totals from all grades will be combined to determine which grade at each school and then each school of WC or TV raises the most money.
One person from the losing school’s administration (school that did not raise the most money) will face the consequences of losing during halftime of Friday night’s football game. Thank you for helping Make a Change with Your Loose Change Competition a huge success!
