Last week, Mr. Jira's Intro to Information Technology class designed their own board games focused on cybersecurity. Each game was created to teach players important cybersecurity fundamentals in a fun and engaging way. Students combined creativity and tech skills to make learning interactive and exciting!

If you are planning to travel to the Class A Boys' State Basketball Tournament in Rapid City, here are a few things to think about as to plan:
1. Have you purchased your tickets online prior to arriving at the event? They will have approximately 14 ticket windows open around the facility on Thursday; however, they anticipate significant lines. Advance online purchases should help speed up entry and reduce congestion at the ticket windows.
2. Spectators will be able to move between the Ice Arena and Summit Arena throughout the tournament. When they arrive and enter the arena, they will receive a wristband that will allow them to go back and forth between the Class A and Class AA tournament games.

12 West Central Choir students participated in our Region II Vocal Solo/Small Ensemble contest at Augustana, Monday, March 9th, 2026.
Results:
9 of our students performed and received Superior scores. These students include Sydney Skari, Liam Murphy, Camden Bjergaard, Darin Wendt, Charlee Schrader, Alyssa Ingalls, Kinley Skots, Jackson Crittenden, and Colleen Gooley. Freshmen Colleen Gooley earned a Perfect Superior Score rating.
We also have one Superior rating Like Duet with Alyssa Ingalls and Colleen Gooley.
Congrats to all and thank you for your hard work to all that participated! It's another great day to be a Trojan!

The Boys' Class A SoDak 16 matchups are out! (#1 Seeded) West Central travels Madison to take on (#16 Seeded) Webster Area on Tuesday, March 10th. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The winner qualifies for the Class A State tournament in Rapid City Thursday, on March 19th - Saturday, March 21st.
