West Central Middle School celebrated Veterans Day on Tuesday. We would like to extend a special thank you to the veterans, FCCLA students, and FCCLA adivsor for volunteering their time to share their message.
A huge shoutout and thank you to, Aiden, Ava, and Adley. For the second year in a row, they have grown, picked, and sold pumpkins to support our Project 22. This year they were able to donate $1,125. This will equate to 325 lunches donated because of their hard work and generosity. Thank you!
Humboldt Elementary was honored to have over 40 local veterans in attendance today at the Veteran's Day Program. The program, led by the 4th/5th Student Council, payed tribute to those who have served and are currently serving. Thank you, Veterans!
Our student nutrition team does a fantastic job of providing healthy meals for our students! Lunch today: Kale, carrots, peppers, two kinds of beans, baked potato, beef, cheese, banana, and a milk. All of this for $3.60. Awesome!

Thank you to the American Legion for teaching a new generation proper flag etiquette in Civics class! This is an annual tradition in Mrs. Bohl's class, and we love to see young people embracing their patriotic duties!
The winter sports season is coming up fast. The 2025-2026 Winter Sports Meeting for coaches and parents will be Monday, November 17th @ 6:00 p.m. in the West Central High School Auditorium. This is an important time for all our coaches and parents to meet and go over rules and expectations for the coming season. Also, it will give Chad Morrison, our athletic trainer, an opportunity to speak to all parents about the athletic training side of things. Please mark the date and time on your calendar.

Hartford Elementary will host an Appreciation Parade for Veterans tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th, at 2:45 p.m., on 2nd Street between Feyder Avenue and Vandemark Avenue.
All Hartford Elementary students will be lining the streets to show their appreciation for veterans and their service to our country. We invite our local veterans and community members to join us as we honor and celebrate those who have served!
