29 West Central High School FCCLA members attended the South Dakota Youth Foundation in Sioux Falls yesterday. These members will teach K-5 about character development this coming school year.

West Central FFA made history at the Southeast Regional Land and Range Judging Contest by qualifying two teams to compete in the National Land and Range Judging Contest in Oklahoma City in May.

Teams advancing include: Land Judging team of Joslyn Stahl, Ganon Lienhard, Darryn Beck, and Eva Healy

Range Judging team of Alex Siemonsma, Noah Erickson, Hailey Goebel, and Lyric Riepma.

Our FFA Range team of Hailey Goebel, Alex Siemonsma, Lyric Riepma, and Liam Murphy placed first. Hailey was the first place individual.

Our Land and Homesite team of Darryn Beck, Kenasyn Johnson, Eva Healy, and Evangeline Gerlach placed 2nd. Darryn was the first place individual in the contest!

Students advance to the Southeast Region Contest next week where berths to the National Land and Range Judging Contest will be up for grabs!

Game time is 7:00 p.m. As part of Military and Law Enforcement Appreciation Night, we will be offering free admission for individuals that have or are currently serving in the military or law enforcement.
